Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the general public and follow traffic laws
- ability to physically load and unload freight weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with the public and comprehend traffic signs
- touch freight handling capability including lifting products weighing 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- 21 years of age or older
- one year of customer delivery experience preferred
- six months of hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- six months of food and beverage industry experience preferred
- two years of consistent work history preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned delivery routes
- manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing friendly and efficient service
- become familiar with customer operations to meet their specific delivery needs and expectations
- comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines for commercial vehicle operation
- complete necessary paperwork and reports accurately
- adapt to scheduled overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
