As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco Grand Rapids, the successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer to deliver various products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies to customer locations on assigned routes. Job Requirements

  • must be 21 years of age or older
  • must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the general public and follow traffic laws
  • ability to physically load and unload freight weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
  • willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • must be authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with the public and comprehend traffic signs
  • touch freight handling capability including lifting products weighing 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
  • 21 years of age or older
  • one year of customer delivery experience preferred
  • six months of hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
  • six months of food and beverage industry experience preferred
  • two years of consistent work history preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
