This role is for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers who are responsible for operating tractor-trailers to safely and efficiently deliver a variety of products to multiple customer locations along assigned routes. The drivers play a crucial role in maintaining Sysco’s reputation by building strong relationships with customers through a positive and friendly attitude and becoming familiar with each customer’s unique operational needs. This position requires manual unloading and delivery of a range of products which often include items that require physical handling of weights up to 100 pounds. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as overtime, weekend work, and holiday shifts may be needed based on business demands. Drivers are typically on daily routes and return home nightly, supporting a balanced work-life dynamic.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass employment testing
- Hold valid Class A commercial driver license (CDL) with insurable driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate and respond to inquiries
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver license (CDL)
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to interact with the public and understand traffic signs
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to lift heavy freight up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- 1 year of customer delivery experience preferred
- 6 months of hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- 6 months of food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Consistent work history for at least 2 years preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various foodservice products to customer locations
- Manually unload and handle freight weighing between 40-100 pounds
- Follow assigned route schedules efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- Build positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions
- Understand and meet customer operational needs and expectations
- Adhere to company safety standards and traffic regulations
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately
