Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Possess a valid Class A CDL license
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Be capable of lifting, pushing, or moving freight weighing between 40 and 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Have a clean driving record
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with the public and follow safety signs
- Minimum one year of customer delivery experience preferred
- Experience using hand carts or hand trucks preferred
- Food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products safely and efficiently to customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver freight including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service
- Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any delivery issues or vehicle problems to management promptly
