Job Requirements
- must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to physically handle freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- licensed to drive with a valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand highway signs
- customer delivery experience preferred
- hand cart/hand truck experience preferred
- food and beverage industry experience preferred
- consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- manually unload and deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers by demonstrating a friendly and professional attitude
- become familiar with customer operations to meet their specific needs and expectations
- adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
- handle freight weighing between 40 to 60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
