Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- pass employment testing
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License with driving record that meets company insurability standards
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway traffic signs
- ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40 to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete required reports
- Experience preferred in customer delivery, hand cart or hand truck operations, and the food and beverage industry
- Demonstrated consistent work history
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products
- Manually unload and deliver products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through courteous and professional interactions
- Understand and follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Lift, push, or move freight weighing between 40 and 100 pounds repeatedly
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to address delivery issues and provide updates
