Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- clean driving record
- pass pre-employment background check
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to lift 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand traffic signs
- physical ability to lift heavy freight repeatedly
- prior customer delivery experience preferred
- experience with hand cart or hand truck preferred
- food and beverage industry experience preferred
- consistent work history of 2 years preferred
Job Duties
- safely operate a tractor-trailer on assigned local routes
- manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
- build and maintain positive relationships with customers using a friendly and professional attitude
- become familiar with customer operations to meet their needs and expectations
- comply with all safety and traffic regulations
- maintain accurate delivery records and reports
- perform physical tasks including lifting and moving freight weighing 40-100 pounds
