Job Requirements
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- license to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- commercial vehicle drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- touch freight - may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility - overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require
- 21+ years of age
Job Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for highway safety and customer communication
- strong customer service skills
- physical ability to handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- 1 year customer delivery experience preferred
- 6 months hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- 6 months food and beverage experience preferred
- 2 years consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of food and supply products to customer locations
- Follow assigned route schedule ensuring timely deliveries
- Manually unload and handle freight, including lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 100 pounds
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues
