The CDL A Local Delivery Driver position based in Atlanta, GA offers a compelling opportunity for experienced commercial drivers seeking steady local routes with home every night. This role operates Monday through Friday, with shifts beginning between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM. These daily assignments exceed 10 hours in length, with opportunities for overtime. The pay rate for this position is $26.00 per hour, emphasizing competitive compensation for CDL drivers in the region. Drivers in this role will primarily operate tractor-trailers with a CDL A license or straight trucks with a CDL B license, hauling wine, beer, and spirits throughout approximately 160 miles and delivering products to about 19 customer accounts daily. During peak periods, the account stops may increase up to 30 per day.
