The role of CDL A Local Delivery Driver at the West Palm Beach, FL location offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about driving and customer service. This position is designed for those who desire more home time, with local day shifts and routes that ensure drivers return home daily. As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering essential food products to a diverse customer base including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities. Your responsibilities extend beyond driving; you will engage with customers to build strong relationships, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries that meet high standards of safety and service.

This position requires physical stamina as drivers will unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds and utilize equipment such as ramps and two-wheel carts to handle deliveries efficiently. Pay is competitive, with drivers earning an average of $90,000 per year, alongside a guaranteed minimum weekly wage of $1,100. Compensation includes daily base pay plus component pay, covering every mile driven, each stop made, and every case delivered. Working Monday through Saturday with flexible start times between 3 AM and 5 AM, drivers enjoy predictable schedules with Sundays and a weekday off.

Strong communication skills in English are necessary to handle documentation, labels, scanners, and company instructions. Candidates must pass drug screening inclusive of marijuana and background checks, maintain a clean driving record per DOT and company standards, and be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, complying with all regulatory requirements.
