The role of an Intermodal Truck Driver with Schneider involves hauling containers suspended on company chassis into and out of railyards within 80 miles of South El Monte, CA. This position mainly involves no-touch freight that requires about 80% drop-and-hook operations, making it an efficient and driver-friendly route. The job offers competitive pay that ranges from $1,340 to $1,640 weekly, combining mileage pay, load pay, and hourly pay for on-duty but non-driving times. Orientation is paid, and the company provides paid time off after six months, plus six days of holiday pay annually. Drivers may earn an annual bonus based on up to 3% of their gross pay, encouraging performance and dedication.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Live within 20 miles of South El Monte, CA
- Prefer possession of tanker and HazMat endorsements
- Ability to operate battery electric trucks preferred
- Must comply with all safety regulations
- Willingness to participate in paid orientation
Job Qualifications
