With a diverse workforce of approximately 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture rich in safety, customer success, sustainability, and innovation. Empowered associates are encouraged to share ideas, take initiative, and make decisions that drive the company’s success.

This connection provides employees with unique opportunities for growth and exposure in a global market serving more than four million customers and patients worldwide.

The CDL A Hazmat Driver role is a pivotal position within Airgas’s logistics team located in Dayton, Ohio. This role specializes in operating tractor-trailer combinations to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases safely and efficiently. The driver will primarily haul liquid nitrogen and oxygen using tanker vehicles, delivering these critical products either directly to customers or to storage facilities. The company offers a competitive pay structure supplemented by quarterly incentive bonuses and an unlimited $2000 driver referral bonus to encourage team growth. The role demands flexibility to work nights and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of logistics operations.

Airgas prioritizes employee well-being by providing comprehensive benefits that support the entire life spectrum. Employees gain access to medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance, alongside support for families through a 14-week paid childbirth benefit. Financial security is enhanced via a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, tuition assistance programs, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Benefits commence after just 30 days of employment, underscoring Airgas's commitment to early support for its workforce.

Joining Airgas means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive workplace that values the unique perspectives of its employees and communities.
