Job Description
Koch Trucking is a family-owned and driver-focused trucking company that has been serving the transportation and distribution industry since 1978. Known for its commitment to respect, excellence, safety, and innovation, Koch Trucking has established itself as a full-service transportation leader offering a variety of services that include dedicated, regional, flatbed, marine, and specialized transportation. The company values a healthy business environment that fosters growth and well-being for both employees and customers. This is strengthened by its position as part of the larger Koch Companies, which provide comprehensive logistics solutions spanning truckload freight hauling, warehousing, truck and trailer leasing, and more. Koch Trucking is proud to have received recognition as a top company for women to work for in transportation as well as a top workplace by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. These accolades highlight the company's dedication to diversity, employee satisfaction, and operational excellence.
The company is currently hiring CDL-A flatbed company drivers to join its expanding flatbed division. This role offers an attractive salary averaging $85,000 annually, with top performers earning up to $95,000 per year. New hires also receive a $6,000 hiring bonus. Drivers will benefit from a steady stream of consistent miles and the opportunity to develop familiarity with regular customers. Position details include a flexible home time schedule, with drivers typically out on the road for 14 to 21 days depending on their location. A generous paid time off package is offered, allowing drivers to start accruing PTO from their very first day of employment, which is supplemented by three floating holidays annually.
Koch Trucking equips its fleet with modern vehicles — all trucks are three years old or newer, with an average fleet age of just 16 months. Drivers can expect to operate Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadias that include many driver-friendly features such as refrigerators, leather interiors, double curtain wraps, double bunks, built-in inverters, and other comfort-enhancing amenities. The company supports its drivers with weekly pay and provides additional tools like a free iPad with a data package to keep them connected with family and friends. For driver convenience and comfort, Koch Trucking offers a comprehensive drivers' lounge with amenities including toiletries, laundry soap, pizza, and sandwiches, alongside a pet and rider policy to accommodate personal needs. Orientation is conducted in luxury hotels located in Roseville, MN, and Appling, GA, with all expenses paid.
Additional benefits of the role include over dimensional pay, stop pay for each delivery stop, tarp pay for tarped loads, a special bonus for border crossings for drivers who cross into Canada, and a substantial referral bonus program. The company’s culture revolves around ensuring safety, fairness, and respect for its drivers, helping them achieve both professional and personal success. This role is ideal for CDL-A Flatbed Drivers looking to join a reputable company with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment.
