Known for its dedication to respect, excellence, safety, and innovation, Koch Trucking has developed into a full-service transportation and distribution leader. The company is committed to building a healthy business environment that fosters growth opportunities for both employees and customers alike. With multiple divisions encompassing Dedicated, Regional, Flatbed, Marine, and Specialized transportation services, Koch Trucking offers drivers the flexibility they need while meeting the unique shipping demands of its diverse clientele.
Koch Trucking prides itself on maintaining a company culture rooted in core values that prioritize driver focus and employee well-being. As part of Koch Companies, which also provides logistics, warehousing, and truck/trailer leasing services, Koch Trucking benefits from a vast network that enhances operational capacity and service reliability. The company has received recognition as a top workplace, including the 2025 Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association and as a Top 200 Workplace by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The opportunity to join Koch Trucking as a CDL-A Flatbed Company Driver presents a rewarding career path for professionals with a valid CDL-A license and at least one year of experience hauling flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers. Offering an average annual income of approximately $88,000, with top performers earning up to $98,000 yearly, this role combines competitive pay with excellent benefits. New hires also receive a $6,000 signing bonus.
Koch Trucking flatbed drivers benefit from steady routes that build familiarity with customers and consistent mileage. This position includes home time of 14 to 21 days based on the driver's location, a comprehensive Paid Time Off (PTO) package that accrues from day one, and additional floating holidays. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans ensure drivers and their families are well protected.
Drivers enjoy a modern fleet of trucks averaging 16 months in age, including well-equipped Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia models with amenities like refrigerators, leather interiors, double bunks, built-in inverters, and double curtain wraps. Orientation is offered at luxury hotels in Roseville, MN, and Appling, GA at the company’s expense, ensuring a positive and comfortable start. Weekly paychecks and a free iPad with a data package help drivers stay connected and financially secure.
Additional compensation includes over-dimensional pay, stop pay, securement pay, tarp pay, loaded border crossing bonuses, and referral bonuses. Pet and rider policies, the Rolling Strong driver app, and free drivers’ lounge benefits add to the driver-focused culture. This role is ideal for motivated truck drivers seeking stable employment, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits within a respected, well-established company.
