Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum one year of driving experience
- Experience hauling flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers preferred but not required
- Ability to operate commercial motor vehicles safely
- Willingness to comply with company policies and DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of one year driving experience with flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers
- Familiarity with safety and cargo securement regulations
- Ability to operate trucks with advanced features such as double bunks and inverters
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customers
- Professional driving record with no major violations
- Capable of managing long-haul routes with home time of 14-21 days
Job Duties
- Operate flatbed, step deck, or Conestoga trailers safely and efficiently
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer
- Secure loads correctly to comply with safety regulations
- Manage cargo handling including tarping and load adjustments
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies regarding hours of service and safety
- Complete required documentation such as logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports
