The role requires a professional who is experienced with flatbed equipment and ideally has handling experience with Moffett forklifts. The primary responsibilities include safely operating the vehicle according to Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety standards, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and managing freight handling tasks such as strapping and unloading. Accurate completion of all required logs and paperwork is essential, as is clear communication with dispatch and operations teams. The position demands physical capability to meet the job’s requirements including lifting, climbing, strapping, and tarping.
This opportunity is well suited for drivers who meet the specified requirements such as holding a valid CDL A license, having a clean motor vehicle record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last three years, and meeting all DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Experience of two or more years in relevant driving roles is required, with a preference given to candidates having recent experience.
