Job Requirements
- CDL A license
- minimum of 1 year driving experience post CDL school
- pass driver testing
- pass DOT physical/drug testing
- good driving record
- ability to operate manual transmission
- willingness to train on Moffett if no experience
- warehouse experience preferred
- English proficiency
- physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting
- basic math and map reading skills
Job Qualifications
- CDL A licensed with minimum of 1 year of driving experience after CDL school
- must pass driver testing
- must pass DOT physical and drug testing
- current and active Class A driver's license with good driving record
- must be able to operate manual transmission with no license restrictions
- previous experience operating a Moffett highly preferred or willingness to train and learn
- previous warehouse experience highly preferred
- proficient in reading and writing English
- capable of performing in a physically demanding environment including bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling
- able to lift up to 75 lbs independently or up to 150 lbs with partner
- knowledge of basic math and map reading skills
Job Duties
- Drives truck to destination
- distributes receipts for load picked up
- occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges
- maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations
- maintains telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
- loads and unloads truck as needed
- inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit
