Job Requirements
- must have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- meet McLane’s motor vehicle record and risk rating qualifications
- able to read, write, and comprehend English to perform safety and operational tasks
- at least 21 years old
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
- at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
- ability to read, write, and understand English
- at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
- safely hook assigned tractor to a loaded trailer and deliver from Sidney, OH warehouse to affiliated warehouses
- assist with loading and sorting of pre-palletized product on priority appointments
- complete an average of two routes per week with average route time of 28 hours
- operate as a team approximately 50% of the time and spend time in the berth
- no ramp unloading work required
- maintain and submit accurate driver log according to DOT regulations
- drive tractor-trailer safely while complying with commercial driving regulations
- unload trailer delivering products into customer premises
- perform other duties as assigned
