Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
  • Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
  • Ability to read write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
  • Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age

  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience

Job Duties

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on road and on customer premises
  • Maintain driver log manually or electronically according to DOT regulations documenting delivery receipt product temperatures and exceptions
  • Unload trailer delivering product into customer premises
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
