This role is for a Delivery Driver position at US Foods, where the successful candidate will play a critical part in the company’s mission of GREAT FOOD. MADE EASY™. Delivery Drivers are essential to the smooth operation of the business, ensuring that food products are delivered safely and on time to various customers while maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude. This role offers an expected hourly wage between $37.50 and $45.00, with additional overtime and incentive compensation. The position comes with benefits after 90 days, including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401K, life insurance, and more, which underscores US Foods’ commitment to employee well-being. Work schedules typically run Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with early morning start times between 3 AM and 5 AM and shifts ending once all deliveries are completed. There is also the possibility of a four-day workweek with one day off, depending on business needs.
As a US Foods Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver food and related products to customers, verifying delivery accuracy, handling collections, and providing excellent customer service throughout the process. You will also be required to perform equipment inspections before and after trips to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Physical demands include frequent lifting and handling of heavy products, as well as working in various weather conditions with numerous delivery stops during each shift. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, and have at least six months of commercial driving experience, preferably with some food or beverage delivery experience. The ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred and may be required at certain locations.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum six months commercial driving experience or three months in food and beverage delivery
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs.
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Qualifications
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Must be registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
