This role is a local driver position within US Foods, offering a competitive starting wage of around $35 to $37 per hour, with the possibility of overtime compensation based on experience and location. The schedule is typically Monday through Saturday, with shifts starting between 2 AM and 6 AM, suited for early risers who can manage a consistent and reliable delivery routine. The position requires a safe driver responsible for delivering food products to customers, helping enhance their experience by ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Drivers will be engaged not just in transporting goods, but also in managing the unloading process, verifying orders, handling customer payments if necessary, and performing inspections on their vehicle pre- and post-trip to comply with safety standards.

Job Requirements
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid CDL Class A license with endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Have a minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ pounds repetitively
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience in any industry or three months in food and beverage delivery
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively
- Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Operate manual transmission vehicles when required in specific locations
