Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • Minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks
  • Must meet McLane's motor vehicle record and risk rating standards
  • Pass background check and drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience

Job Duties

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill
  • Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations documenting delivery receipt product temperatures and exceptions
  • Unload trailer delivering product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned
