Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • insurable to operate vehicle
  • ability to read, speak and write English
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds
  • willingness to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime
  • compliance with all safety and food safety protocols
  • ability to handle hazardous materials safely
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • ability to speak and read English
  • ability to operate tractor-trailer and related equipment
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines
  • skill in long distance driving and problem solving
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • basic math skills
  • ability to work independently

Job Duties

  • Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations according to assigned route
  • unloads product by hand or with hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
  • picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and customer returns
  • completes all paperwork and reports accurately and timely, including DOT logs and vehicle inspections
  • maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer
  • operates assigned equipment safely, including hand carts and load bars
  • develops positive customer relationships through excellent service
  • communicates route deviations and any issues to management
  • works assigned schedule and additional hours as needed
