Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- insurable to operate vehicle
- ability to read, speak and write English
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds
- willingness to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime
- compliance with all safety and food safety protocols
- ability to handle hazardous materials safely
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- ability to speak and read English
- ability to operate tractor-trailer and related equipment
- knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat guidelines
- skill in long distance driving and problem solving
- ability to communicate effectively
- physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- basic math skills
- ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations according to assigned route
- unloads product by hand or with hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
- picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and customer returns
- completes all paperwork and reports accurately and timely, including DOT logs and vehicle inspections
- maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer
- operates assigned equipment safely, including hand carts and load bars
- develops positive customer relationships through excellent service
- communicates route deviations and any issues to management
- works assigned schedule and additional hours as needed
