Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent degree
- one year of tractor trailer driving experience
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- must be insurable to operate vehicle
- knowledge of DOT regulations
- ability to safely drive tractor-trailer in varied conditions
- ability to perform basic math functions
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 350 pounds with a hand cart
- able to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
- good physical condition to handle loading/unloading
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- compliance with company productivity standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent degree
- one year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- skill in driving long distances and communicating with customers
- ability to operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' to 48' trailer, straight truck, on-board computer, and hand cart
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficient for traffic signs, safety instructions, and record keeping
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or with hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions and place in designated customer storage areas according to specifications
- ensure all paperwork is completed accurately according to company and governmental guidelines, including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and invoices
- maintain food safety protocols by monitoring temperatures, inspecting product for damage, preventing cross-contamination and keeping tractor, trailer, and warehouse sanitary
- develop and maintain positive customer relationships through courteous and effective communication
- perform other duties as assigned by management
