Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted instead of or in addition to a high school diploma
  • one year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver0s License
  • must be insurable to operate vehicle
  • ability to drive tractor-trailer day and night in various weather and traffic conditions
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with hand cart
  • ability to comply with DOT regulations and food safety protocols
  • ability to communicate in English and perform basic math
  • willingness to work overnight schedules, weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying start times
  • ability to work in wet, hot, cold, or humid conditions
  • ability to climb in and out of tractor and trailer

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • one year verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
  • food and/or beverage delivery experience preferred
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver0s License
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • ability to drive over long distances and varied terrains
  • basic math skills
  • ability to operate tractor, trailer, truck, onboard computer, keypad, and hand cart
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently
  • problem solving skills

Job Duties

  • Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
  • place products in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards
  • ensure all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on time
  • maintain food safety protocols by ensuring proper temperatures, inspecting products for damages, and preventing cross contamination
  • maintain sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard
  • develop and establish good customer relationships through excellent and courteous service with clear communication
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
