Job Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- insurable to operate a vehicle
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent degree or completion of tractor trailer driving school
- one year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to operate 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, onboard computer, and hand cart
- ability to work night shifts and weekends
- ability to meet productivity standards
- ability to follow food safety protocols
- ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- one year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
- food and beverage delivery experience a plus
- valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- insurable to operate company vehicle
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- skilled in driving long distances and varied weather conditions
- effective communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to read and speak English
- basic math skills
- ability to work independently and organize work activities
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
- place product in designated customer storage areas according to specifications and company standards
- complete all paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and delivery invoices
- ensure food safety protocols are followed including maintaining proper temperatures, inspecting products for damages, and preventing cross contamination
- maintain sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer and assist with warehouse and yard sanitation
- develop and maintain good customer relationships through courteous and professional service
- perform other duties as assigned by management
