Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • insurability to operate a vehicle
  • one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of tractor trailer driving school
  • ability to safely operate tractor trailer in various traffic and weather conditions
  • ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds by hand and move up to 350 pounds with hand cart
  • physical ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, climbing, reaching and other physical demands
  • ability to understand and comply with safety, food handling and DOT regulations
  • willing to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying start times
  • authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
  • ability to operate 3 axle tractors, 45-48 foot trailers, straight trucks
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to perform basic math functions
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and compliance

Job Duties

  • Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
  • place products in designated customer storage areas per specifications
  • complete all paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, and delivery invoices
  • report damages and shortages promptly
  • maintain all food safety protocols ensuring proper temperatures and preventing contamination
  • keep tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard sanitary
  • develop and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service and clear communication
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
