Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED equivalent degree plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • Completion of tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of or in addition to high school diploma
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Must be insurable to operate vehicle
  • Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical demands including climbing, bending, and reaching
  • Availability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must comply with food safety protocols
  • Good communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Skill in long distance driving and customer communication
  • Ability to operate 3 axle tractor and 45-48 foot trailers
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic math skills
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to plan and organize work independently

Job Duties

  • Unloads product from trailer by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
  • Ensures all paperwork is completed according to company and governmental guidelines
  • Maintains food safety protocols including temperature control and sanitation
  • Develops and maintains positive customer relationships through excellent service and communication
  • Operates tractor trailer safely adhering to DOT and Hazmat regulations
  • Reports damages and shortages promptly
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
