This role is not only about transportation but also about building lasting relationships with customers, acting as the company’s representative in the field. Drivers will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight assignments. The position offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, complemented by a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and features a 4-day work week from Monday to Friday with dispatch starting between midnight and 4:00 AM. Drivers can expect routes that involve two-day cycles with two overnight stays per week, allowing substantial home time compared to many industry roles.

Core-Mark ensures a safe and inclusive working environment where employees enjoy competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package starting from day one. Benefits include health and wellness programs, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off, among others. The company fosters career growth opportunities, recognizing the value of its drivers in supporting America’s food distribution system. The Driver, Hourly CDL-A must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, execute stringent safety checks, and maintain thorough documentation to guarantee the highest standards of delivery service and regulatory compliance.
