Job Description

Shamrock Foods Company is a distinguished leader in the food industry, proudly standing as a privately-held, family-owned, and -operated business since its inception in Arizona in 1922. As a Forbes 500 company, Shamrock Foods has a long-standing tradition of innovation and dedication to quality and customer service. The company emphasizes a culture where people come first — honoring their associates, customers, and the families they serve across the nation. Shamrock Foods operates with a mission rooted in the founding family motto: to treat associates like family and customers like friends. This philosophy underpins their commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Located at the forefront of food industry innovation, Shamrock Foods Company offers a robust benefits package designed to provide associates with security, growth opportunities, and wellness resources. These benefits include comprehensive health insurance coverage largely paid for by the company, a 401(k) Savings Plan, profit sharing, paid time off, continual education, and wellness initiatives, all aimed at promoting the overall well-being and career advancement of their team members. Consistent with their values, Shamrock Foods is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and ensuring fair treatment and opportunities for all qualified applicants.

The role available at Shamrock Foods is a critical one, responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient delivery of products and services across Ash geographic routes. This position offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $30 to $32 per hour, with top performers earning up to $44.50 per hour. It also provides flexible work schedules, including both 5-day and 4-day work weeks, accommodating different lifestyle needs and preferences.

The primary responsibilities include loading and unloading various products — such as perishable foods, tabletop items, special equipment, and frozen foods — at different locations within specific geographic territories. Employees in this role will engage directly with customers, providing information about new products or services, distributing sales promotion materials, and resolving any issues or complaints efficiently. The job also entails meticulous record-keeping, requiring delivery personnel to maintain accurate daily sales and delivery records and obtain signatures upon pickup and delivery. Compliance with company policies as well as Department of Transportation regulations is paramount to ensure safety and legal adherence.

This job demands physical resilience, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and regularly lifting substantial weights up to 100 pounds. Visual acuity is also essential, requiring excellent close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Prospective candidates should be prepared for potential overnight shifts, weekends, and holiday work depending on departmental needs.

Joining Shamrock Foods as a delivery driver provides not only an opportunity for competitive compensation and stable employment but also the chance to be part of a long-standing, reputable company that values family-oriented culture and employee well-being. The company encourages applications from all qualified individuals and maintains a strict policy of equal opportunity, ensuring a respectful and equitable work environment for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and diverse backgrounds. Overall, this role is ideal for individuals who are experienced CDL holders, motivated by performance-based rewards, and eager to contribute to a company with a proud heritage and a commitment to excellence.
