The company prides itself on its inclusive workplace environment where safety, rewards, recognition, and respect are foundational pillars.
Core-Mark is seeking dedicated CDL-A Delivery Drivers to join their team in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. These drivers play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of food and food-related products throughout intrastate and interstate routes. Delivery drivers represent the face of the company as they build lasting customer relationships while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with dispatch times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, a four-day workweek structure, and optional overtime availability. The compensation package is highly competitive, with annual salaries ranging from $75,000 to $80,000, complemented by a $6,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 annual retention bonus.
The CDL-A Delivery Driver is responsible for operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks safely and efficiently while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Beyond driving, the role includes conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, verifying freight loads, handling customer transactions where necessary, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Drivers are expected to ensure freight items are properly secured and that all equipment is kept clean and organized. The position requires teamwork and a commitment to Core-Mark’s mission of supporting America’s food supply chain by delivering essential products reliably and on time.
This role offers exceptional growth opportunities within Core-Mark’s dynamic organization. Drivers benefit from a secure and stable working environment that values diversity and equal employment opportunity under federal, state, and local laws. The company’s benefits package includes day one health and wellness benefits, employee stock purchase plans, 401K employer matching, education assistance, paid time off, and more. Core-Mark fosters a culture that celebrates achievements and upholds the safety and wellness of its employees, making it an ideal place for CDL-A delivery professionals looking to advance their careers while contributing meaningfully to the food service delivery industry.
