The company’s commitment to excellence and innovation has secured its position as a top-tier employer within the transportation and logistics industry, making it an attractive workplace for professionals seeking career advancement and rewarding opportunities.
We are currently seeking a full-time CDL-A Delivery Driver based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to join our dynamic team. This is a key role within the core operations of our food supply chain, focused on driving tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food and food-related products safely and efficiently. Our drivers play an essential part in ensuring that the supply chain functions seamlessly by meeting scheduled delivery times, maintaining excellent product condition, and sustaining positive relationships with customers.
This position offers competitive compensation, ranging from $70,000 to $75,000 annually, and includes a $7,000 sign-on bonus. The schedule typically involves a 4-day work week with dispatch times between 3 PM and 5 PM, allowing drivers to return home daily. The role demands keen attention to safety and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, compliance with company policies, and proficient handling of delivery documentation.
As a Delivery Driver at Core-Mark, you will be accountable not only for navigating routes and delivering products but also for performing safety inspections on vehicles, verifying freight, and managing paperwork with accuracy. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills as drivers are the company’s face to clients, often building lasting, trust-based relationships. Additionally, the role requires physical activities such as lifting and moving product cases weighing between 10 and 90 pounds using equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates. Candidates should be committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service, making this a rewarding opportunity for individuals who value a respected, full-time driving career within a supportive and growth-oriented company.
