The role also promises a competitive earning potential of up to $115,000 per year through a combination of base salary, overtime, and incentive pay. During training, drivers start at $29.60 per hour, increasing to $37.00 per hour upon successful completion, reflecting Sysco's commitment to fairly compensating its workforce.

Job Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age
  • must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
  • valid interstate Class A commercial driver license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
  • flexibility to work overtime, Saturdays, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • valid interstate Class A commercial driver license (CDL)
  • clean driving record
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • strong customer service skills
  • physical ability to handle freight weighing between 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • prior experience in delivery driving preferred
  • experience with hand cart or hand truck operations beneficial
  • food and beverage industry experience advantageous
  • consistent work history

Job Duties
