The company is committed to fostering a dynamic workplace culture that promotes internal growth, strong leadership, and continuous improvement through extensive training programs and a dedication to safety. Known for its solid reputation, US Foods not only supports its clients but also prioritizes the professional advancement and wellbeing of its employees.

The Delivery Driver role at US Foods is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a stable and rewarding career in the logistics and transportation sector. This role involves safely operating large trucks to deliver food products to various customers, including restaurants and other foodservice businesses. Delivery Drivers must be dependable, customer-focused, and able to maintain efficient delivery schedules while adhering to safety regulations. Typically working five days a week from Monday to Saturday, shifts begin early in the morning, between 3am and 7am, allowing for timely deliveries that meet customer demands. The pay rate for this position is competitive, with drivers earning approximately $30.92 per hour plus additional component pay. Beyond the financial incentives, US Foods offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities include the careful unloading and placement of goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and two-wheelers, verifying delivery accuracy with customers, handling customer payments when necessary, and ensuring thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Physical stamina is important, as the job requires lifting and moving heavy products (20 to 80+ pounds) throughout the shift, as well as frequent stops and working in varying weather conditions. Drivers communicate effectively in English to interact with customers and comply with traffic laws. US Foods values integrity and reliability in their drivers, emphasizing a customer-first approach and fostering long-term relationships with clients. This role offers a path for those committed to professional growth and who want to be part of a respected company that values its people and community impact.
