US Foods is currently looking for dedicated and skilled drivers to join its team as US Foods Drivers. This role offers full-time employment with an expected base salary ranging from $35 to $37 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation. The US Foods Driver position involves operating commercial vehicles to deliver food products safely and efficiently to customers. Drivers are responsible for meeting scheduled delivery times, handling and unloading products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, verifying delivery accuracy, obtaining customer signatures, and occasionally managing collections and payments. A key part of the role also includes performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
Physical endurance and resilience are important, as drivers frequently lift, carry, push, or pull goods weighing 20 to 80 pounds or more throughout their shifts. Working in various weather conditions and making numerous stops per day is expected. The role requires compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, an online drug and alcohol program database.
This position demands a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements, a minimum age of 21, and commercial driving experience either overall or specifically within the food and beverage delivery sector. Communication skills in English are essential for understanding traffic laws, interacting with customers, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food and/or beverage delivery
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs repetitively during shifts
- Comfortable driving in inclement weather with frequent stops
- Must register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to read and communicate in English
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
