The Non CDL Driver position at US Foods is a vital role responsible for safely delivering foodservice products to multiple stops within a designated territory. This role involves operating a company vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) limit of 25,900 pounds and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of multi-stop delivery experience or six months of local delivery and/or foodservice industry experience. They must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) medical requirements and comply with all DOT regulations.

This position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $24.50 with the potential to earn up to $30.00 depending on experience and location, with scheduled weekly pay and annual increases. Work schedules are typically Monday through Friday, with early dispatch times between 1 and 2 am, averaging 45-50 hours per week. Importantly, the role allows employees to be home daily, offering a healthy work-life balance. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, accurately documenting delivery information, managing damaged merchandise, and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve delivery issues. The role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and customer loyalty.

This position requires a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record, the ability to pass a DOT physical, and the physical capacity to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
