The role of a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver at US FOODS is both challenging and rewarding, designed for individuals eager to grow their careers and take on the responsibility of delivering foodservice products safely and efficiently. Drivers begin with a competitive training base rate of $33.43 per hour. After completing training, compensation transitions to a component pay system based on miles driven, cases delivered, and stops completed, with hourly pay provided during any downtime, ensuring consistent earnings. This position involves delivering pre-picked customer orders on plastic pallets using route trailers equipped with liftgates and powered pallet jacks, facilitating easy and safe unloading.
