The role of a US Foods Driver is critical in maintaining the supply chain and ensuring timely delivery to customers. Starting with a competitive training pay of $27.81 per hour, drivers transition to a component pay structure based on mileage, stops, and cases, averaging $32.00 per hour. The job offers flexible scheduling options including 4- or 5-day workweeks with start times between 3 AM and 6 AM, designed to promote a healthy work-life balance. Duties include safely operating trucks to deliver products, unloading merchandise with the appropriate tools, verifying delivery accuracy, handling collections when necessary, and performing both pre-trip and post-trip inspections of their equipment. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Qualifications
- Must have valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications

Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
