The CDL-A Driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate, interstate, local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes. This includes drive-and-drop routes and requires strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The role demands attention to detail to ensure that food and food-related products arrive at the destination safely, on time, and in excellent condition. Drivers also serve as ambassadors of the company, maintaining professional communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers, thereby fostering solid customer relationships and enhancing the company’s reputation.

This position requires physical capability to handle and move product cases weighing between 10 to 90 pounds using equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates.
