We are currently seeking CDL-A Drivers to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting America’s food distribution system. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay with newer drivers making approximately $70,000 annually, supplemented by a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Beyond the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefit package from day one, including health and wellness benefits, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off. Additionally, drivers are eligible for up to $3,400 annually in safety bonuses. This role is designed for individuals who value safety, customer service, and professionalism and who take pride in being the face of our company to customers on their delivery routes.

As a CDL-A Driver, you will be responsible for operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food and food service products on intrastate, interstate, and local routes, including over-the-road, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments. The position requires adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintaining the safety and integrity of freight, and delivering products in a timely and professional manner. Drivers are expected to perform all required safety inspections, secure freight correctly, manage customer interactions with professionalism, and complete necessary documentation accurately. This role demands physical activity, including the ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates to move and stack product cases that typically weigh between 10-35 pounds, with some items reaching 60-90 pounds depending on the location.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • valid CDL-A license
  • 21 years of age or older
  • at least 6 months of commercial driving experience
  • meet all state licensing and certification requirements
  • clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • pass post offer drug test
  • pass criminal background check
  • pass road test
  • possess or able to obtain DOT health card
  • able to hand-lift and use equipment to move products weighing between 10 and 90 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6 or more months commercial driving experience for certain routes or 12 or more months for others
  • valid CDL-A license
  • must be 21 years or older
  • meet all state licensing and certification requirements
  • clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

  • possess or able to obtain valid DOT health card
  • physical ability to lift products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds using equipment

Job Duties

  • perform required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
  • report safety hazards immediately
  • inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
  • move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
  • drive and deliver customer orders according to route schedules
  • unload products and transport items to designated storage areas
  • perform damage control on items and communicate with supervisor as needed
  • verify delivery and obtain proper signatures
  • collect payment where required
  • load customer returns and secure trailer doors
  • unload damaged goods and complete paperwork
  • maintain daily record of hours of service and log accordingly
  • perform general housekeeping and secure equipment at shift end
  • perform other related duties as assigned
