With a strong commitment to quality service and community engagement, Performance Foodservice combines the expertise of sales representatives, chefs, consultants, and other professionals to build lasting partnerships with customers. The company fosters a culture of respect, inclusivity, and recognition, emphasizing safe work environments and opportunities for employee growth.

The CDL-A Driver position is essential to supporting the company’s mission of ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food and food-related products across local, intrastate, interstate, and long haul routes. This role requires operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to fulfill deliveries according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards. The driver acts as the frontline representative of Performance Foodservice, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers through professional communication and by consistently delivering products in excellent condition. Drivers also contribute to the team's success by ensuring compliance with all transportation and safety protocols while performing vehicle inspections, managing freight loading and unloading tasks, and completing proper documentation.

This position offers competitive pay ranging from $75,000 to $100,000+ annually with uncapped earning potential through quarterly safety bonuses and unlimited referral bonuses. The work schedule is flexible, primarily structured as a 4- or 5-day workweek, with optional additional days and up to two nights out per week, accompanied by an approximate daily per diem and overnight compensation. New employees with one year or more of CDL A experience are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, further reflecting the company’s investment in experienced drivers. Performance Foodservice also provides day-one health and wellness benefits, 401K employer matching, education assistance, employee stock purchase plans, paid time off, and other comprehensive benefits, highlighting their dedication to employee well-being and professional development.
