The Delivery Driver position at US Foods offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the team that ensures customers receive timely and safe deliveries. This position operates on a schedule from Monday to Saturday, providing two days off per week with varied start times between 10 PM and 6 AM. Drivers can expect to work 10 to 12 hours daily and approximately 50 to 55 hours per week, with overtime available as needed to accommodate business demands.

Starting at $35.78 per hour, plus overtime compensation after 40 hours, this role not only offers competitive pay but also provides various benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and life insurance. Delivery Drivers are responsible for safely driving trucks to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries, and providing excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction. In addition to driving and delivery duties, successful candidates must conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards. Strong communication skills in English are essential to effectively interact with customers, read highway signs, and complete necessary records. Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory to comply with Department of Transportation regulations, ensuring that all commercial drivers meet drug and alcohol program requirements.
