Known for its commitment to quality and innovation, US Foods supports its employees through competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, disability coverage, an employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

The US Foods Driver will be responsible for operating commercial delivery trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory requirements, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Drivers will unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks or by hand, ensuring placement in designated customer storage areas. Verifying delivery accuracy, obtaining signatures, and handling collections or payments when applicable are essential responsibilities. Customer service excellence is paramount since drivers are often the face of US Foods to their customers. Physical requirements of the role include the ability to lift and carry products ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds repeatedly during each shift, as well as working in various weather conditions with frequent stops during delivery routes.

Applicants must meet specific qualifications, including holding a valid CDL Class A license with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, being at least 21 years old, and having a minimum of six months commercial driving experience (or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry). Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory, reflecting the company's compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. English communication skills are required to understand highway signs, complete reports, and engage professionally with customers and officials. Ability to operate a manual transmission is preferred and may be required depending on location.

Drivers at US Foods are valued not only for their driving skills but also for their role in maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. The company believes in rewarding dedication and hard work through a robust Total Rewards program, fostering both professional and personal growth.
