This particular opportunity is for the position of a Formula CDL-A Delivery Driver based out of Orlando, Florida, where the company operates a key distribution hub. The role is hourly, offering competitive pay ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, dependent on experience, with a work schedule from Monday through Saturday and Sundays off. Shifts typically begin between 3:30 AM and 7:30 AM and continue until the day's deliveries are successfully completed. Drivers play an indispensable role in maintaining the integrity of the food supply chain by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries of food and food-related products. Beyond just transportation, these drivers serve as the crucial face of PFG Specialty, building lasting relationships with customers through professionalism and outstanding service.
The Formula CDL-A Delivery Driver is responsible for operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight deliveries. Adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, the driver performs essential safety inspections on equipment, secures loads, completes accurate documentation, and manages the loading and unloading processes at customer locations. Precision, reliability, and customer interaction skills are vital to this role as drivers verify product counts, secure signatures, and handle customer returns and payments where applicable.
Joining PFG Specialty means becoming part of a culture that emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and recognition. The company is dedicated to providing a safe and respectful work environment where employees are rewarded and recognized for their contributions. Growth opportunities abound for those who demonstrate dedication and capability in supporting America's vital food distribution system. Additional benefits highlight PFG's commitment to employee wellness and financial security from day one, including health and wellness benefits, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K with employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off.
Overall, this role is ideal for motivated individuals who possess a valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and a strong work ethic. Drivers will gain valuable experience as they contribute to the seamless delivery of essential food products, representing a dynamic company with deep roots in the industry and a forward-looking approach to employee care and operational excellence.
