Located at 38 Boston Post Rd, West Haven CT, this role is looking for a CDL A Delivery Driver prepared to operate a 10-speed transmission truck with no auto restriction, reflecting the company’s trust in a highly skilled driving workforce. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated individuals who have a passion for driving and want to benefit from more home time, working local day shifts Monday through Friday with start times between 3 AM and 5 AM until the route is complete. Drivers will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food products to various customers, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities. The role includes physically demanding tasks such as unloading cases that can weigh up to 100 pounds and using equipment like ramps and two-wheel carts which can carry loads up to 350 pounds. Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Class A CDL license at hire
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
- Successfully pass drug test including marijuana
- Clean driving record
- Registered with Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with electronic consent
