Being a key player in the food distribution industry, US Foods offers a diverse range of food and related products that serve thousands of customers nationwide, including restaurants, healthcare facilities, and hospitality businesses. The company has built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and a culture that emphasizes promoting from within, ensuring unlimited career growth opportunities for its employees through ongoing job skills and leadership development training.

Joining US Foods as a Delivery Driver offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a stable and rewarding career in the logistics and transportation sector. The role begins with a competitive pay rate starting at $25.00 per hour during training, with the potential for incentive pay following the training period. Delivery drivers at US Foods typically work either a 4-day or 5-day workweek, providing a healthy work-life balance and the benefit of being home every night due to local routes. The company values hard work and dedication, reflected in its commitment to fair compensation, paid training, paid overtime, and various employee recognition programs.

The Delivery Driver position involves more than just driving; it requires a high level of professionalism and customer service to create positive experiences for US Foods’ clients. Drivers are responsible for safely operating trucks, meeting precise delivery schedules, carefully unloading products, and accurately verifying delivery information with customers. The job demands physical stamina to handle repeated lifting and carrying of products weighing between 20 to over 80 pounds and the ability to work in various weather conditions, given the requirements for frequent stops.

For candidates who meet the requirements, US Foods offers a career path with growth potential, supported by excellent leadership and a collaborative culture.
