This CDL-A Driver role at PFG is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of the food supply chain across intrastate and interstate routes. Drivers are integral to ensuring that food and food-related products are delivered safely, timely, and in excellent condition to various customers. This position involves dispatch times ranging from midnight to early morning, primarily between 4am and 6am, with work scheduled Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays required. Drivers are compensated with an average annual pay range from $90,000 to $110,000, calculated by cases, miles, stops, and dispatch fees, with a progressive daily minimum guarantee.

Besides competitive pay, PFG offers numerous benefits that include health and wellness coverage starting from day one, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off. The company nurtures a safe and inclusive work environment that values rewards, recognition, and respect for each employee. As a crucial face of the company, the CDL-A Driver must conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections, adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and maintain comprehensive paperwork for all deliveries. This role requires interaction with customers and vendors to ensure a positive customer experience while representing PFG’s commitment to quality and service excellence. The CDL-A Driver also handles tasks such as loading and unloading freight, verifying deliveries, managing returns, and maintaining clean and orderly equipment and trailers.
