The CDL A Delivery Driver role at Gordon Food Service offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who are passionate about the road and providing consistent, reliable delivery service. This position is home-based in West Springfield, MA, featuring local routes and day shifts that ensure drivers are home daily, contributing to work-life balance. This physically active role requires handling cases up to 100 pounds using equipment such as ramps and two-wheel carts. The role features a five-day Monday through Friday work week with start times between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with hours extending until the delivery route is completed. Compensation is performance-based, paying drivers daily rates plus additional per-mile, per-case, and per-stop earnings, with annual salaries ranging from $82,000 to over $100,000.
