Compensation is competitive and based on relevant experience, education, skills, and geographic location, with base pay ranging from $35.89 to $39.88 per hour.\n\nUS Foods Drivers are fundamental ambassadors of the company, engaging directly with customers to ensure accurate deliveries while providing excellent service. Beyond driving, the position involves loading and unloading products using equipment like pallet jacks and two-wheelers, verifying delivery accuracy, obtaining customer signatures, handling payments when required, and conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards. Job Requirements
- Must have valid CDL Class A license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs repetitively
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience in any industry or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
