As a CDL-A Delivery Driver at McLane, you will be responsible for the safe inspection and operation of tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. This includes pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, accurate completion of DOT inspection reports, adherence to commercial driving regulations, and efficient maneuvering on both roadways and customer premises. Drivers maintain digital or manual logs documenting deliveries, product temperatures, and any delivery exceptions. Responsibilities also include unloading trailers and ensuring the correct delivery of products at customer locations.
