The CDL-A Delivery Driver role at McLane offers an exceptional opportunity for professional drivers to advance their careers in a supportive and rewarding environment. The position is designed for individuals who are safety-focused, reliable, adaptable, and dedicated to providing superior service. Drivers are entrusted with operating tractor-trailers to transport goods for America’s favorite brands, playing a crucial role in maintaining the supply chain that supports the nation’s economy. This job provides a competitive and comprehensive compensation package with top drivers earning over $100,000 annually. The pay structure is multifaceted, including hourly wages, mileage, stops, and case incentives to reward drivers adequately for their performance.

McLane supports its drivers from day one with a robust benefits program that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, alongside company-paid life insurance and flexible spending options like FSA/HSA. Furthermore, drivers benefit from paid holidays, vacation time accrual, sick leave, and a 401(k) profit-sharing plan, which becomes available after just 90 days of employment. Additional perks such as pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, and tuition reimbursement demonstrate McLane’s commitment to supporting drivers' overall well-being and career growth.

As a CDL-A Delivery Driver at McLane, you will be responsible for the safe inspection and operation of tractor-trailers, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. This includes pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, accurate completion of DOT inspection reports, adherence to commercial driving regulations, and efficient maneuvering on both roadways and customer premises. Responsibilities also include unloading trailers and ensuring the correct delivery of products at customer locations. McLane values safety, reliability, and a dedication to service excellence, creating a professional yet supportive work environment that encourages longevity and career development in the trucking industry.
