This particular role is for a Dedicated Truck Driver position supporting Dollar General freight deliveries. It is a full-time position offering competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,240 to $1,510. The driver will haul retail freight utilizing liftgate trailers, performing 100% hand unloads with the assistance of rolltainers. Duties include performing intricate slow-speed maneuvers and complex backing techniques to navigate multiple stop-offs on 3-4 loads weekly. Drivers typically operate within Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia, giving the opportunity to develop familiarity with these routes and customers.

Schneider provides a comprehensive pay package including mileage pay, load pay, and hourly pay for on-duty time that is not driving. Additionally, drivers are incentivized through weekly performance pay and attractive sign-on bonuses. Experienced drivers can earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus, while newcomers receive $2,000, paid out over 12 months. Orientation is paid, and drivers are eligible for paid time off after six months, along with six annual holidays paid. The package also includes an annual bonus where drivers can earn up to 2% of their yearly gross pay.
